Offset Umbrella
I know, an offset umbrella sounds like an odd thing to have but let me tell you that its actually one of the most useful type of patio umbrella’s that you could ever think about buying! You see most patio umbrellas that you see in the stores or that you might be more familiar with are the type that go through a hole in your patio table. But then what do you do if your patio table doesn’t have a hole in it or what if you do not have one at all or just what if you want to have an umbrella to provide shade where you do not have a table of any sort? What do you do then? Well that’s what an offset umbrella is built for!
In my back yard I have two of them. One of them is located near a seating area that is used in the summer time when we all just want to sit around and talk out side or when I want to sit out side and read. There is no table in that area and because I have a pool in my yard I do not have any trees in that area. The other offset umbrella that I have in my back yard is near the shallow end of the pool. You see in my pool there is a little bit of a bench in the shallow end that you can sit and my Grandparents like to use it when they swim with the kids but there is no shade there so they do not stay in long. Or at least that’s the way that it was before I got an offset umbrella for that spot. Now the whole family can enjoy the pool when they all come over to visit and we can sit out side and chit chat and not have to sit at the table but still be in the shade!
The offset umbrella can really make for a great addition to any back yard or even a patio where you would like to have shade but do not have another way to get it! I love the two that I have and I am thinking that next summer that I might just buy another one too. Since they come in so many different colors and styles I am sure that you will find one that you love and have it fit right in with any out door decor that you might have! Personally I prefer to have the bright colored ones near the pool and the more classic colors near my seating areas. Adding an offset umbrella to your back yard can make all the difference.
